1984 R100 RT donated

Post by ham3375 »

I donated my R100-RT, it was picked up today. I believe that it will be sold at auction -https://capitalcityautoauction.com/, probably Rancho Cordova, CA. It's a good bike, rideable. ~140K miles, transmission with new bearings within the last 5K miles. Valves and heads done within the last 15K miles. Numbers match. Comes with a lot of spares, some of the original literature, the workshop manual, the original tool kit, a new battery, and more. It was my daily driver until a few years ago when I quit riding. Store in the garage since. Needs paint, and or course the chrome is now 50 years old. I'm the second owner.

This is the early series with high compression and the peaky cam. It's a great ride! I believe this series is has the most HP of any airhead.
Anyway, watch the oction if interested.
