What model is this speedo for ?

I have a speedo that I've been tasked to find a home for... but can't identify what model it belongs to.

The dial reads W=1.144.

My best guess is /6 or /7 era but I've also been told it is from a R80. Perhaps there is a chart on the internet somewhere that identifies the various speedo codes and ratios ?

if anybody can kindly point me in the right direction that would be great.

Grant in Toronto.

Snowbum's table on this page suggests it's for a R90/6 in the mid 1970s. Should be paired with a 34/11 final drive.

From Snowbums website. The housing & gauges indicate a 1974-only gauge cluster. The ratio indicates an R90/6. So 1974 R90/6. The lenses have been replaced on this piece however - the glass should have white rings around the rim.

Thanks all ! I can always depend on quick and accurate answers from my fellow members.

I've spent countless, late night hours down the rabbit hole of Snowbum's incredible site but never saw that chart.

Thanks !!

Be sure and use the search boxes Snowbum has all over the tech page. I put in "speedometer" and the page in question is the second one in the list.

What are your plans for the speedo?

Grant:
That unit is identical to the one on my 1975 R 90/6 (with sidecar), right down to the W 1.144 number etched on it. Well - except yours is in way better shape. My speedometer is still accurate, however my tach is toast. I pulled the cable off of it as it was making wretched noises and didn't have a needle anymore.
I could provide a good home for that unit, provided your price is reasonable.
