R65 with mikunis, mileage = worse

Having installed Rock Point's mikuni carbs on the R65, fuel mileage went from 44 to 38. Power didn't really improve but starting did. has anyone changed the jets to bring the mileage back up? Rocky Point did careful interviewing to sell me the carbs already jetted, so probably they're pretty close if not exact to start with....
