Last ride of the season

Barre is a small town in north central Massachusetts, about 20 miles NW of the city of Worcester. One hardware store, one grocery, a few eateries, part of a regional school system. Every year after Thanksgiving the Christmas season is kicked off with a craft fair in the town hall, lights on the town common and a parade with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, school band, scouts, fire trucks, etc and a bunch of vintage vehicles. So, that means me.

Soaking wet weather, but no ice or salt on the road. While waiting to start, Santa came over, slapped me on the back and said he wished there were more "hogs" joining in. Really? Oh, well. A guy named Dave asked if he could ride in the car; sure, welcome aboard.

Great end to the season.

Hi
From Sydney Australia , I really feel sorry for members who live in North America. With a very restricted riding season . Fortunately we can ride for the full 12 months . I lived in the North of England for a few years and I used to ride my R69 to work . I hit a patch of black ice and I parked the bike until the weather improved .I guess it is time to do all of those winter projects or put off repairs . Merry Xmas to all the members .

Last ride of the season is always sad. Where I live in Wisconsin the riding season is even shorter than Massachusetts. Although last month we had several days that were unseasonably warm. Thanks for posting your holiday celebration outing.
What size is the front tire you are using on your sidecar rig ? Does it handle better with two K block tires ?
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all members, Michael

4.00 x 18 block k front and rear. This is my first rig and so I have no comparison to other tires but I like the way it is setup quite well. Tracks straight on the open road and brakes straight.

Bill, Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if a 4:00 x 18 tire would fit on the front. It looks great and I'm pleased it works for you. Michael

Funny that your bike was referred to as a Hog. On one of my rest stops, a dad walked by with his small son, who remarked, "I didn't know BMW made Harleys!"
