1974 R90s /6 Trans Crank bolts weakness

Hello All.
Looking for some guidance or assurance.(Mac, this might be right up your alley.)
I have owned a 74 R90/6 for 20 years with moderate riding and no real journeys.( Or problems for that matter). I am now retired and ready for some adventures. I recently acquired a 74 90s and hoping for some extended road time.
I've been reading about the smaller crank bolts and weak trans in 74 which BMW addressed in later models.
Is this a real concern for moderate riding (not track days). Or is it something that needs attention before venturing out ? Neither of these bikes are high mileage >50k.
I saw the list of 90s upgrades but would it be better to know "must do" from "nice to have" components? I like bullet proof stock best.
As always, thanks to all for such a great group.
Paul
