I have a '55 R50 which I hope to have complete by next season (not ridden yet). It has 35:11 gearing. Does anyone have observations on riding an R50 with my ratio?

You are only talking the difference between 3.12 and 3.18. You'll never notice the difference if you've ridden an R50 with the common 25/8 final drive.
