Controlling oil pump gears during assembly

I know most people work on the small magnet to retain the lower oil pump gear from getting out of place during assembly.
I tapped a small thread into the bottom oil pump gear and use a small screw to retain the gear during assembly.
Not essential of course, but I find with the case hot and all the other things going on, one less thing to keep an eye on is helpful to my old brain.
