Help! 1988 R100GS Drive Shaft Cross piece

Hi all, hope someone can help me out.

A part of my drive shaft has worn out (from my R100GS ). I was searching for it in maxbmw.com but it seems they only sell the whole piece ($832.14)
Since it’s not a small amount to pay for, I was looking for other options. I only need the cross-piece. Anyone can point me out in the right direction.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

I wonder if shops that can repair driveshafts might have what you need. I recall Bruno's machine shop in Ontario Canada. I also thought there was another one in the NorthWest named like Henderson? One of these places can repair driveshafts and install grease fittings.

Beyond that, you might contact Boxer2Valve to see what they might suggest.

Motorworks in the UK has rebuildable driveshafts. Here's a link for your bike.

I bought one and a repair kit for an R90/6 for future use. Nice workmanship.
