converting to points ignition a 1985 R80 with electronic ignition by adding a points bean can

Hello,
I just added the points bean can and 3ohm dual output coil to a 1985 R80 electronic ignition bike. If anyone has done this conversion before I have a few questions. I will run a wire from the condenser to the coil. Can I use any of the existing 2 wires that ran to the orginal coil for power or should I take a seperate hot wire from the ignition switch? I belive I will need one of the wires to drive the tachometer. Any thoughts on how to wire this up?
