Recently I have noted a squeak in or at the back of the transmission when I pull in the clutch lever with the motor not running. When the machine is started it is quiet until the clutch is pulled and then there is a squeaking roughly matching engine speed at idle in roughly the same location. Everything otherwise operates/runs beautifully. Is it the the thrust bearing or somewhere else along the clutch push rod? Attempts to lubricate from behind has offered no help. Planning a 2700 mile ride in Sept. on the Cross Country Chase and this just started. I need to sort out what it is pretty quickly. Appreciate any thoughts?
