Thinking of renewing the center stand of my R69S but it seems the foot peg on the currently available stands are sort of flattened while the peg on mine has a circular cross section.
Any opinions about what is correct? It's possible that mine was once repaired and is wrong but then I saw a stand on Duane's site which is same as mine.

I took a look at mine.
Slightly flattened, about 5" long on a 1958.
Perhaps they changed over the years to round.

I've had several R69S and /2 bikes. Never seen a round foot peg on the center stand.

For what it is worth, that is most definitely not an R69S stand in the photograph, it is a late R51/3, R67/2 or R68.

The center stand for the plunger models and r50 r69s models are not interchangeable but the rounded foot peg is similar to the plunger models
