Solution looking for a problem.... Just one guys view, but I've never had a problem with my float bowls overheating in nearly 50 years of riding in Phoenix even in summer heat (try 115F). The heat off the cylinders will burn the heck out of your ankles though! Boots, heavy socks and pants are must! LOL!
