In the end, I was fortunate enough to find a low-mileage (14,000 miles) silver smoke R90S in fantastic condition. The bike sat in a musuem for 15 years and looks very lightly used. Just going through it now to get it ready for riding this summer! My R90S has interesting early-bike features like the curved mirrors, early aluminum signals, holes under the fairing, etc but has the typical 1975 updates like the drilled roters, updated switchgear, ribbed seat, Dell'Ortos without the curved cable guide, etc. Very lucky to find this bike ... searching for 10 years.
