So I’m thinking ahead…. If I were to need a new used crankshaft, do you guys have a suggestion as to where, I could get one?

I'm not sure if he is still selling used parts or not but We have had very good luck/business with Roland Robilie at Roland's airhead parts. A general search will turn up his page.

Many years ago I dealt with Joshua Buck however, I have not heard much about him lately, not sure if he is in business yet.

I have dealt with Motorworks in the UK with good results for used as well as new parts.

There is Re-cycle BMW in Ohio, I can't say as I have done much business with them but I hear they are good.

As for Ebay well, you take your chances. St.

It is good to know Joshua is still around. Back when I dealt with him, he had more of an internet presence.

I also used to deal with an old guy in the mid west Galin Perry, sadly, I have not seen any signs he is still around or alive.

Us old guys are kicking off, ride while we can and enjoy the ride. St.

I just noticed a recent post. I did pull the engine and sent the crank and rods to boxerworks in Watkinsville ga ( I’m in ny). Nate Mendes runs it. They found me a used crank, supplied rods bearings etc and even lent me a special tool. They held my hand through the ordeal . Great shop! I did it myself. It’s running well now. What a nice bike. Thanks for all your input
