Mal;
As they say in your country "No worries Mate". I actually saw Arlo Guthrie preform both Alice's Restaurant and the motorcycle song in Denver in 1969. That was my senior year at the School of Mines. As close as I got to Australia would have been either Sorong or Biak in Irian Barat Indonesia back when I worked for Pacific Nikkel.
Now I am retired and riding in western Pennsylvania - as I mentioned- God has his paint brush out right now. See below

What a beautiful part of the world.
Like riding through the landscape on the lid of a chocolate box. I can't compete with that. Australia is interesting but mostly interesting not so much pretty.
Enjoy the last good riding days before it gets a fair bit colder I imagine.
Tommy;
Vermont looks like good riding country too. I suspect your riding season is a bit shorter though. Here in PA, even in January and February, there are always a couple of days where it gets up to 50 and you can get a short ride in.
Indigenous People Day, Mt. Grace parking lot, Warwick, Mass. My SC rig and R75/5 (piloted by my friend Kris). Never did meet the owner of that very cool MG-A.

Steib TR500 sidecar (new)
Your photos of your copilot reminded me that I need to update my file photo. I lost Oscar, my sidecar buddy, to a stroke last spring. We are not sure how old he was, probably over 10. He was abandoned as an adult dog and moved in under my daughter's porch. She and her husband couldn't jeep him so he got dumped onto Dad. Oscar took to the sidecar right away and would even come out to the garage and sit in while I worked on one of the bikes.
