I can post a number for the fellow I know who does pin stripe if anyone likes? His name is Mark Weld, and he was featured a few years back in the BMW MOA magazine in an article by a Canadian fellow who had restored a R100RS. The bike was donated to the MOA forum and tickets were sold for a raffle.
As for Wally the painter, after he retired, he moved here in NY to a smaller place. Now he is warm in AZ. So I won't be talking to him until perhaps May.
There may still be a local shop here in Rochester, problem is, my friend keeps telling me he is going to get me the name of the shop and he keeps forgetting to do so, LOL. St.
