Buco Enduro Bags Cost?

Post by Peter »

Howdy Ray, in my opinion they are slightly over-priced, however they are new so that counts for something, best price check is via Ebay,

Peter, Thanks, I had to pass on them anyway. when I tried them on (they are a newer aftermarket variety) the upper mount would not fit on a bike with a fender mounted rack. So no deal. Thanks though.

A former /2 collector wants to sell me a set of brand new in the box set of Buco Enduro Bags with rack for $500. I have no idea what they are worth...
Were they Buco or Enduro?

I have restored two sets of Wixoms, which are similar to Buco in design and mounting and being no longer made:

A set of used Wixoms costs about $200, and restoring and painting them costs another $600.

New fiberglass Enduro repros are available from Luxormarine for $550.

I have seen good original ABS plastic Enduros go for several hundred $ more.

So I think you would be very fortunate to find a NOS set of either Bucos or Enduros for only $500.
