Well I borrowed a set of panniers, to check on the fit.
That seems fine.
The carrier is, not quite finished, but close.
I will give it a run as is, before I get it painted.

Anyone who said this job would be quick and easy, is obviously a lot cleverer than me.
Note bent indicator stork on right side.

Is it bent or is it just tilted? Maybe loosen a few bolts in the center, realign, and tighten??

No the stork is bent down slightly.

Never mind it can be fixed or replaced, when I get around to it.
