The motorcycle-only event is the one to go to on 4/12-13. If they still offer a Friday admission with the full weekend pass, that's the day to go.

Depending your schedule, you might also consider the Technorama in Ulm on May 2, 3, and 4.

Last year the April Veterama was rather poorly attended by vendors and visitors compared to previous years. I attended Technorama a few years ago and thought it to be about the same as April Veterama.

I had hoped to attend Technorama this year, but my work schedule will not permit it, so I plan to go to Veterama again this year (April 11-13). It is easy to cover either Technorama or April Veterama in one day, although I try to arrive on Friday afternoon and leave on Saturday afternoon.

Veterama in October is the best if you can attend.

There is nothing in Ludwigshafen. Mannheim is just across the river. I generally make reservations through:

At various times, I have stayed at the Maritim, Steigenberger, Mercure, Holiday Inn and a budget hotel in nearby Ladenburg. All of them have been OK. The Maritim is sometimes hard to get reservations (and getting expensive), so I have not done it recently (although my wife likes it).

5 and 6 april is it veterama in Ludwigshafen with Auto und Motorrader
12 and 13 april is it only Motorrader

Which one do you recommend??

I am looking for prewar Bmw motorbikes part.
