R69US seat removal

Post by schrader7032 »

I don't think there's an "easy" way...it'll basically need to be unbolted...look for the tie down points, likely one up front and one on either side at the shock towers. I converted my bench seat to a solo seat which then allows me to get the battery in and out much easier.

I took a look at my battery situation. Is it possible to remove the air cleaner and move/tilt the battery out that way? The battery connections will need to be removed which might be like minor surgery working underneath the close fitting seat.

I have a full seat on my R69. Is there an easy way to remove the seat to get at the battery?
