Is Krytox the right grease to use for clutch spline and throwout?

Post by huntmiller »

A while back I saw a video James Wonder did and was introduced to Dupont Krytox. I'm about to assemble a /2 clutch and was thinking it may be the best grease I have for the transmission input spline and the throughout bearing. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

Solved I researched Krytox and learned a lot about it. Its almost pure PFPE/PTFE IE Teflon. Found Snowbum's discussion: https://bmwmotorcycletech.info/chemicalsetc.htm I found Honda M77 was quickly available on Amazon. Also I have Liqui Moly Long-Life Grease + MoS2 on my shelf.

Nice. When I was doing this research I landed on Ted Porter's replacement for Honda Moly:

I like it.
