We did the Targa-Florio some years ago in a vintage car-- it was like a slow rolling sun tan in Sicily but still great fun and stuck to the B roads -mostly mountains and small towns/villages along the perimeter of Sicily. That might be a fun run on a motorbike- the Sicilians are absolutely fanatical about motorsports and treated us like rock stars.

Any photos of the bike on the trip, or from earlier rides? I love seeing Earles fork bikes kitted out and dirty.
