Bluemoonscooter Endurobags???

Post by Bill7593 »

I've ordered several polished stainless items from Blue Moon - bar risers, axels, intake tubes, etc. and have always been very pleased. I get a kick from that Ho Che Minh City return address in my mail box, too.

There's Blue Moon Cycle in Georgia and then Blue Moon Scooter which I believe is an off-continent vintage parts supplier.

Jeff, your bikes are beautiful, and those bags look sweet, and totally fit for that "period" look.
So,I ordered them.(The enduro bags from Vietnam)I noticed that they do not have the original style dzus fastener,so look like they are more solidly/permanently mounted.I will post pictures and a review once I get them in my hands.I hope they look good and fit well as well as not vibrating too much, since I just spent $650.00!!! :?

i spoke to someone who has a pair of Luxor marine bags. they are very well made and the only difference is the rear of the bag is not as sleek as the originals. the rears are more squared off but very well made. so the secret is to place an order and 6 weeks later your card will get hit for the payment and 4 days later the bags arrive....

Well,I got a package today, and it was only ONE bag!!! I am assuming they shipped in 2 boxes,so I will be anxiously awaiting the next box!!Why didn't they just ship it in one??? :?
Anyhoo..........I amm VERY pleased with the fit/finish of this one bag so far.......it is nicely made fiberglass, and the black is not painted on,it is actual gel-coat in black, and although the color is a little "off" from th eoriginal BMW black,it is still passable. The hardware is top notch, and as soon as I get the other one,I willtake some pictures and do a small write-up.
It looks like they are a winner and as ,long as I get my other one,I will be very happy.I test fitted it on myt bike and it looks great!!!

Call John Landstom at Blue Moon. Shipping one bag makes no sense. My pair came in one box.
