R69s carb issue- main jet
R69s carb issue- main jet
Bike died on me, I thought I ran out of gas. It wouldn’t run worth a damn, limped it home.
After cleaning the carbs, adjusting valves, and a new condenser, with minimal success, I was trying to adjust the carb idle on the right side, and nothing I did changed it.
Turns out the main jet had risen so high in the carb body that it was higher than the highest point of the idle speed screw!
I was able to tap it into place, but I’m wondering why it did this. I imagine with vibrations it would fall down, not rise up…
