Easy / Soft Clutch Gizmo

Post by Bruce Frey »

I have one of Vech's on my R90S and like it very much. It was very quick and easy to install. I have arthitis in my wrists and my hand strength is not very good. The Easy Clutch makes riding much more enjoyable.

The only minor negative I can think of is that the clutch cable must be replaced if you ever decide to remove it.

The other thing about these is that the clutch adjustment must be spot on or the possibility is that you won't get the full engagement on either end of the throw. It reduces the force of pull but increases the range of actuation, so that's why you have to have the clutch adjusted just right.

My R-50 came with one - didn't care much for it, especially for adjustments - took it off. Understand some of the bigger bikes do benefit from it....
