Hi Frank, and welcome to the board! I know you're active on the R90S list, and you've got a lot of stories about riding around Australia on it.

I was out to the Death Valley Daze IBMWR Rally a week ago, and the hit of the rally was a husband and wife riding around on their dover white R27. He said they hit 38mph on a long, straight, flat stretch of road down towards Badwater, where the air is densest. ;-) They had trucked the bike in from their home in Phoenix. It sounded great.

G'day all,
As you can tell I'm from Downunder. I own 3 BMW's. A 1987 K100RS with 150,000klm purchased second hand with only 8000klm. A 1976 R90S purchased new, now in it's 30th year have covered 395,000klm. And finally a 1956 R26 puchased in 1991 with only 9,000klm now showing 23,000klm travelled.
