BMW Posters

Post by schrader7032 »

I received an email from Duane Ausherman about an ebay listing for BMW posters he is selling for Rod Miller. Rod worked for Duane at his Marin, CA, shop. Rod is not doing well and is in assisted living. Just thought I'd pass along the link.

It is ebay number 134372878247.

I'm so sorry I missed this when first posted. Rod sold me my first BMW when working out of Duane's shop in San Francisco in 1980. He also introduced me, a few years later, to installing a R90/6 engine into (his) R69S. An outlaw concept at the time. I fell in love with this idea when I got into sidecars in the early '90s (also introduced by Rod) when my children started aging. I bought a R69S from Kari (California BMW) in 1992 and in 1995 I hooked up with Rick Weber in Redwood City (both with connections to Duane) to do the heavy lifting in my conversion.
One last first I received from Rod was a sail boat ride in San Francisco Bay.
I thank Rod for all these memorial events in my life.
