Howdy

Post by gromulin »

Hi all. New to this forum, but owned my 72 R75/5 since 1986. Hasn't been on the road in almost 15 years, but finally getting around to breathing some life back in the old girl. Prepare yourselves for a lot of dumb questions - I suffer from reverse deja-vu: I often get the feeling I forgotten something before.

Anyway, seems like a good small forum of the "good kind" of BMW owners - old and greasy. This may or may not refer to the bikes.

Welcome! Sounds like you

Welcome! Sounds like you have a "true" toaster tank...those used to be disliked but now they seem to be more desireable. Ask away...we'll see if we have any answers that work!!

Thanks! Yep, it's a 4.5

Thanks! Yep, it's a 4.5 gallon toaster, or at least it was. Due to some stupidity in cleaning out the original tank, I had to replace it with the same size tank with the rubber pads on the side. Working on a solution to get the chrome panels back on her. I ALWAYS liked the look, that's why I bought it way back then!
