update on new toys

Post by schrader7032 »

I don't know if the late model Airhead instrument pod is the same as the late 70s, early 80s. This link:

shows in the 3rd and 4th picture the two lights at the top of the instruments. To replace them is on the same order as replacing the other lights in the instrument pod.

update on new toys

The r100 runs great, need to look for a seat cover and how to fix lights in the speedo and clock. The book shows how to replace the four singnal lights but not inside the guages. The r75 is another story, had to remove the carbs and clean and blow out, have not found kits yet but I wanted to see it run, if only for a short time. Ran for about 30 secs. then for 45, then maybe a min. No smoke, no weird noises. The throtle cables have been pulled out of the grip so I couldn't keep it going. I am going to post some photos on "bucket" or "flicker" or something with prices and just part it out. Having trouble with my computer at home so it will take some time. Hope someone out there needs 1974 r75/6 parts.
