1984 RS65LS Tank Rubber Mounts

I have new mounts for the tank. Does anyone know where they are supposed to go?

Welcome to the forum! According to the diagram, they should go somewhere near the round bumper #4 in this diagram:

Probably come up the inside of the nose of the tank.

I haven't been able to find any pictures or videos of these installed. Not high on anyone's list I guess.

So there were no rubber mounts on your bike to begin with? That sure seems strange.

Just has the front horizontal mount. Looks like the tank was painted 3 or 4 times.
