Bad experience with repair shop in SoCal.

Post by Mhintlian@yahoo.com »

This past year( July 2021 to July 2022) has been monopolized by a move from Ventura County Southern California to Virginia. I have a 1978 R100s (75,501 miles ). It was running well but I wanted to have the bike gone over by an expert. A Kat named Tom was highly recommended so I took the bike to him in November of 2020. I left the bike with this Kat named Tom till the end of February 2021. When I get the bike back it’s blowing fuses when I use the turn indicator, the forks are leaking and the transmission is leaking and to this date I have not ridden the bike more than 5 miles since getting the bike back. I checked the fuse panel in the light and there’s a 16 amp fuse in the directional signal position. As to the forks and transmission leaks that was not an issue before taking the bike to this kat named Tom . Therefore caveat emptor (buyer beware) with this guy. Real sloppy work!
