How does this speak to the Belgian police bikes?

Well the story is this red and black Euro version of the 78 RS bikes were supposed Belgian Police bikes Belgium didn't want.

I had a email chat with Tom Cutter, he does not know where the name came from but remembers being told they were a special order that was refused or something along that line. Anyway, in the US, they somehow got called "Belgian Police Bikes". Looks like in the UK, they were "Autumn Specials".
