Brown side stand question
Brown side stand question
Does anyone have a recommendation, for adding a “ rubber tip” to the end, or foot part of the stand? I’m looking for one that fits properly.
I think adding a a durable tip would not only protect the new paint, but also, make it more stable, like when the bike is parked on a slope.

That looks like a similar product to Plasti Dip. There are options!

Re: Brown side stand question
One other thing that has me stumped. The original rubber shifter boot was shot, so ordered new. I’ve attempted to install it, but I think I manhandled the new one, which also split. I have a second new one coming, and wonder if there is some type of procedure, to install it without splitting it?
My first attempt, I used petroleum jelly, applied to both the alloy shifter, and the inside of the new rubber pad.
