Mike,
Here are pictures of the two pins. They are welded to the frame.

The two pins are mounted to the frame in OPPOSITE directions. The front pin faces the rear and the rear pin faces front. One of the hinges MUST be removed (three flat head 4mm hex drive screws), and two of the screws and loosen the third, in the other hinge, in order to remove the seat. It helps to have a 4mm ball driver after you break the screws loose with a hex key.

Randolph, I took a close look, the whole rear peg is gone including the body of it. I’m trying to figure out an alternate solution to welding.
