One of my friends told me recently Autozone will rent out various bearing pullers and such if the renter pays a deposit on the tool. If the tool is returned undamaged, you get your deposit back.
Now I have NO idea as to what catalog of tools they have to rent nor do I know if they have a tool that will do the job needed to perform a task on a BMW bike, but, it can't hurt to check with them. There is no membership needed, just a good credit card.
