I am in search of the plastic steering adjustment knob for my R90/6. The original one broke.

Steering adjustment knob? Do you mean the steering damper knob? On my /7, the Luftmeister fairing knob to adjust the headlight up/down departed the bike. I ended up finding something fairly close on the McMaster website.

Other than that, a number of used parts places have been posted here before. Airhead Salvage outside San Marcos, Texas; Larry "Stoner" out in California. A few more.

Benchmark Works shows #31421236892 on their parts store. MaxBMW shows it, too. Maybe you could get one from your dealer there in the Twin Cities?

I have “raw” unpainted plastic battery side covers for my R90/6. I know the paint code is 086(black). Does anyone know a good source for rattle can paint? Also, any techniques would be appreciated..
I also have a new set of decals and would like to know if I should clear coat over them once I apply them on the freshly painted covers.
