External Tach /6 R90s

I have a buddy with a /2 conversion that has an R90s motor. He has a /2 headlight on it and would like a remote Tach. Does anyone know of a reproduction or an original?

I suppose if you were to find a tach from a /6 at one of the salvage yards, you might be able to cludge up something to work.

There is the product line Tiny Tach http://tinytach.com/tinytach.php which would provide an alternative. I believe the Harley crowd has ways of incorporating tachs on their bikes...need one that words with two cylinders and a wasted spark ignition.

I think those new computer tachs are switchable for 2,4,6 or 8 cylinder engines.... and all you would need to do for a waste spark ignition system is tell the tach it is running on a 4 cylinder engine...so it would half the indicated rpm...

He is looking for something that has a "vintage" look. Since the bike looks like a slash 2 from a distance.
