Post by frankk »

I have been helping a friend with his R90/6 It starts great and runs good at lower rpm but splatters on full acceleration. Any hints.

What sort of things have you done to the bike so far? Did it run OK some time back and now not so much?

Will it run steady speed at

Will it run steady speed at same 60-70 mph? You say specifically under acceleration. Acceleration and steady speed typically are different problems.

I went thru the same problem

I went thru the same problem with a R69S.... I tried everything I could think of.... it turned out to be a bad plug... should not have been bad as it had much less than 1000 miles on it...it would break down under hard acceleration....otherwise it was fine.
