Wixom lower faring install on a 1968 R60US

I can't help much...I've never seen one of these close up. I have the Wixom Ranger handlebar fairing only on my R69S.

I recall seeing one of the posters on this site archiving some pictures of the Wixom fairing...maybe what he says about each picture might help out.

He mentions that the upper fairing had three mounting points. Mine has four mounting points, the two lower ones had a bracket that connected to the top of the front shock mounts. My upper fairing might be different if it's not meant to go with a lower fairing. Not sure...

Wixom lower faring install on a 1968 R60US

I purchased my R60 in 1969 and have had the lower faring on and off many times. However, I have not had it on my bike for several years and now cannot remember an easy way to install the faring. Retired now and at times memory really sucks. Any hints for easy installation???? :| [/b]
