R60 Tyres

Post by schrader7032 »

I went with inch-size tires rather than the metric equivalents. I put some IRC GS-11 tires on my R69S. They were priced right and look OK. I don't know about the wet weather aspects...not something I plan on doing as I ride the bike more for pleasure, meaning I would avoid the rain! I've gotten decent mileage out of the rear.

Schrader7032, do you have a photo of them on the bike?

This is about the best I can find right now...hopefully that will let you see what the tread kind of looks like. I'm running the 3.5 inch up front and the 4.0 inch in the rear.

Have had a look around the forum and got some info.

Does anyone have any ideas for a bike that'll be driven regularly. Not too concerned about period tread Pattern - more interested in grip in the wet.

Hoping for something that will be a similar size and shape to original to fill up the guards and keep the speedo relatively accurate.
