I was not aware that it was going to be available any other way besides through Barrington.

It will not be. Open your checkbook and buy it from Barrington.

The reviews on the website say it all and what a fine publication, this will be the benchmark for years to come. Worth every penny and for those of us overseas BUY IT NOW it will never be as good on the exchange rate.

It will not be.

Found the confirmation of that... Just reread part of the review in the latest VBMWMO Bulletin. At the end it says the manual will be available directly from Barrington, Bench Mark Works, Cycle Works, and perhaps some foreign distriburtors TBD. It also says it will not be available through Amazon or similar discounters.

I have had mine, and have read it cover to cover.Great book, worth every penny.Only gripe I have with ALL the manuals, includingthe factory one,are the fact that there are no exploded diagrams included in any of them. You have to look at a parts book if you are looking for any kind of assembly order.
I also think some more could have been written about the carb tuning/synching part, since not everyone is going to install vacuum nipples on their carbs.

Tim Stafford pointed EMPIs out to me last year, and "the Bible" suggests using EMPI carb syncs for balancing. So that is what I use. Here is "the bible:" http://www.barringtonmotorworks.com/gal ... =14&gid=97

Jeff -

I've never seen these before. Do you get two of them and use the provided adapters to plug them into the intake side of each carb? I guess then you look at the indicator and adjust for the same vacuum level. How do they work for you?

Thanks...Kurt in S.A.

They work just fine. You need two, one for each cylinder at the engine is running to match the output.

Did you use them "out of the box" or did you have to purchase the Kadron adapters??
