I'll keep an eye on the German ones

Post by miller6997 »

I like what I have read about the ones made by bluemoonscooter, but they are expensive (!) and will soon be out of production. The ones in Germany that will be available in September look similar.

I understand the preference for the original Enduros with the pebbly finish, but they are definitely not robust. "Flimsy" is a kind description; "junky" is also apt. I almost bought a pair a few years ago, but when I was actually able to feel and examine them, I said, No thanks!

Saddlebags

Post by schrader7032 »

I looked at the bags made just north of Reno several years ago....made by a boat place...

I think that was Luxor Marine.

It's hard to be sure, but he may mean that the link will be live at the end of October.

A sheet metal working in my

Post by Coolbreeze »

A sheet metal worker in my club is fabricating a set of brackets for my Enduro bags. The Dzus twist fastener receptacles do not look like they will work with my fasteners. Instead, we are looking at cowling fasteners sold by Aircraft Spruce.

I will let you know how this turns out.
