Cosmetic restoration of 1967 R60/2?

Post by VBMWMO »

I have just acquired a 1967 R60/2 which only has 10K original miles. the bike runs quite nicely but needs a paint job and re-striping and probably some re-Chroming of certain parts. The rims, tires and brakes are new.

I don't really have the budget for a "ground up " restoration, but it would be nice to have the cosmetics of the bike upgraded. Does anyone know who might do something like this and what I might need to pay for it? I live in New England (Massachusetts). Thanks!
