There's a dealer in Colorado Springs...Matt Parkhouse is the resident Airhead guru there...he might have some knowledge about the /2. He is a regular contributor to the BMW MOA monthly magazine and provides tech seminars around the country. Maybe give him a call and see what he has to recommend for Denver...

I am currently in (early) discussions to buy a 1969 R69S. It is represented as an excellent example with low mileage (on the odometer, anyway).

I have searched this site to seek out questions to ask the current owner about the bikes condition and history. If I decide to go for it based on his answers, I will want to have the bike shipped to Denver and inspected by a mechanic who has experience with these machines.

Anybody you can recommend?
