Re: Inline fuel filters
I'm of the opinion that the petcock screens are good enough to protect that valve from debris that might do it harm, but not fine enough for jet and needle protection.
Plus it's reassuring to have the little windows into the gas lines, so one can view the carbs fill with fuel at each startup.
Also, have not had any issues with not enough fuel flow using them.
Best-

Re: Inline fuel filters
Do you use clamps to hold the filters? the inner diameter of the hose is 7mm and the other diameter of the filter is also 7mm, it can't be hold together with pressure only...schrader7032 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 9:02 amBeen using filters that Vech used to sell for years. No problems.

Re: Inline fuel filters
No clamps are needed. The fit is sufficiently tight to hold the hoses and filter in place.metoo wrote: ↑Thu Jun 15, 2023 4:26 amDo you use clamps to hold the filters? the inner diameter of the hose is 7mm and the other diameter of the filter is also 7mm, it can't be hold together with pressure only...schrader7032 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 9:02 amBeen using filters that Vech used to sell for years.
