Fairing wanted

Post by skychs »

In the Classic BMW Motorrader magazine (Volume 46 Winter 2022 page 11) there is a photo of an R69S with a fairing. Can anyone tell me what kind of fairing it is and if they are available anywhere? R90/6 or R90S fairing? TIA
Chuck

It certainly does look like the R90S fairing. But there were others that were close copies. Here's a picture from an old magazine showing a couple that looked that one:

It could be a Camber fairing. I have one in my cellar. It looks just like it. I bought maybe 40 years ago to put on my Honda 400F.

Duane Ausherman has a page on Camber fairings. One of the images does compare to the original post photo.

In the first link it looks like the Piranha quarter. In the second link it looks like the Apollo I or II. Either one would be nice.

Magri837 ... If you have one I would be interested in talking. :-)

It is a Piranha. That is Mr. Clark's motorcycle that I had for decades. I still have the fairing from that motorcycle. I also manufacture high quality reproduction FTP Piranha II fairing kits.
