The only difference in the two bearings is that the brass cage bearing is rated at a higher RPM.
This RPM is much higher than the engine can ever reach. And supposedly, it will run quieter, but I cannot hear or confirm any difference.
There is nothing wrong with using the steel cage 6207. It will work fine. and it is cheaper

I'm assembling an R60/2 engine for the first time and I used SKF 6207 C3 main shaft bearings.
after installing the flywheel, there is an axial play (up and down) on this bearing of about .05 mm.
Request for advice
on whether this is the correct clearance or whether to replace the bearing with standard clearance.
Maybe use 6207M C3 bearing?
I will just add, the rear shaft support is new.
