Tickler
I just got the tickler, spring and a small cotter pin. I think I bought an incorrect part. Looks like a cir clip should work better. I bought one at a local autoparts store. Two questions:
1. The cotter pin is wrong, no?
2. Can I use a simple auto circlip (1.6mm), or do I need a small washer or gasket? Does the cir clip have to be stainless, or aluminium?
Two pics enclosed showing where I am at. Thanks guys!

Re: Tickler
I missed it first look, but went back cause it seemed it just had to be there.
Brett, if you're being this diligent about your spares go ahead and source the part.
Safer than finding out the hard way something wasn't close enough. (yes, learned the hard way..)
