R69S handlebar risers needed

Post by skychs »

Hello from Virginia
I cant seem to find any handlebar risers for my R69S restoration. Does anyone have a set for sale or know where I can find a pair? TIA

Chuck,

It looks like they are out at Salis and Ulis. Huggett's has them listed but that does not mean they have them in stock.

Spikebuck has them listed, maybe he has two at https://vintagebeemerparts.com/new-vint ... 2-072-306/.

I am planning on going to Veterama this year and will put them on my list in case you still need them by that time. My list is getting longer! :-)

Are they the same as 1964 50/2 risers?

Going by the description, they are:

"NEW VINTAGE BMW R50-R69S HANDLEBAR RISER"
Kurt in S.A.
'78 R100/7 '69 R69S '52 R25/2
Fast. Neat. Average. Friendly. Good. Good.

Yes, they are the same.

I just got off the phone with Mike at Spike Buck. He does not have any.

EME lists them, but whether or not they have them in stock...

I have a spare set, which I replaced because the chrome was bad. They're in the UK but my sister-in-law is going back to San Francisco in a week and could take them, if you're interested.

Found them. They had two at $92 each. Ouch. I think they said they only had two left after my order. Im wondering why they are getting so scarce?

Thanks for the help guys.
