Shock bumpers (rubbers) Part # 31 41 2 054 236

Post by kenrcruise »

I should have ordered 4 from Vech in 2020, when I had him on the phone and ordered new cartridges. I have run out of online suppliers in trying to find them!

Any suggestions for sites would be welcome! My goal is an R50 rolling chassis by September.

You have the WRONG part number. That is the part number for the rubber sleeve that slipped over the shock body. It is not available and has not been for many many years. It was discontinued as it was deemed unnecessary.

The rubber donut's that go on the front shocks, (it takes 3 per shock on the front) is 31 41 2 054 528.

On what used to be my web site, Bench Mark Works, they are still listed, and MAX BMW should still have them

Thank you Vech!

Come to think of it you told me on the phone in 2020 that they were unnecessary.

I was searching in case they might turn up and they did not.
